Habitat for Humanity International Conference
Habitat on the Hill is an annual legislative conference hosted by Habitat for Humanity. It brings together nearly 400 Habitat staff members, board members, homeowners, resident leaders, volunteers, and emerging leaders to advocate for local, state, and federal policies that promote affordable housing.
The conference typically takes place in Washington, D.C. and lasts for several days. During this time, attendees have the opportunity to:
- Meet with their elected officials and discuss the importance of affordable housing.
- Learn about the latest legislative issues affecting affordable housing.
- Attend workshops and training sessions on advocacy skills and strategies.
- Network with other Habitat supporters and advocates from across the country.
