Safe Healthy Strong Conference 2024

Safe Healthy Strong (SHS) is a program offered by Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin (PPWI) that aims to improve health outcomes by building professional competency around issues of sexuality and reproductive health.

Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin's conference organizers have selected 60-minute workshops that explore best practices in teaching sex education, healthy sexuality, reproductive health, social and reproductive justice, health equity and access for all people, and/or that examine related or intersecting topics. "Sexuality" encompasses many components:  

Sexual Health & Reproduction (the way the body works, STD, contraception, abortion, etc.)  

Emotional Intimacy & Relationships (family, friendships, partnerships, etc.)

Sexual Behavior, Pleasure & the Body (masturbation, sex toys, kink, fetish, BDSM, etc.)  

Identity (personal, social, cultural, gender, sexual, etc.)

Power & Control and Sexuality (contraceptive and reproductive coercion, violence and trauma, in/equality, sex work, justice work, etc.)  

All sessions presented virtually and recorded for later viewing.

Sessions presented in English or Spanish and can be interpreted into any language the learner prefers using our KUDO translations service with human and AI translation.
